Legal Information & Privacy
1. About This Website
The website catalogue.monocrom.design presents a private collection of antiques inherited by its current owner from her father.
The website was created to provide museums, antique dealers, specialist shops, collectors, and other interested individuals and institutions in Croatia and abroad with a convenient way to explore the collection. The items are organised into thematic PDF catalogues containing photographs, descriptions, and known characteristics of individual objects.
This website is not an online store, does not offer online purchasing or payment facilities, and does not represent a registered commercial trading activity. The collection is offered for occasional private sale, with no intention of conducting professional trade or acquiring additional items for resale.
2. Access and Purpose of the Catalogue
The catalogue is primarily intended for individuals and institutions to whom the collection owner has directly provided a link. The website is not intended for public promotion through search engines and has been configured to request that search engines do not index its content. Access to the website is not password-protected. Anyone with the link can view the available content.
3. Relationship with MONOCROM
The website is hosted on a subdomain of monocrom.design solely for the convenience of using an existing domain and technical infrastructure. MONOCROM does not own any of the items presented, does not participate in their sale, and does not act as a seller or intermediary in any private sale arrangements. All enquiries and arrangements concerning the items are handled directly by the private collection owner, independently of MONOCROM’s business activities.
4. Item Information and Conditions of Sale
The PDF catalogues are provided for informational purposes to present items from the private collection. Photographs, descriptions, and other details are based on available documentation and information obtained during the original purchases. Although every effort is made to ensure accuracy, some descriptions may contain incomplete or historical information. Interested parties may request further information, current photographs, confirmation of an item’s condition and availability, or its price.
The inclusion of an item in the catalogue does not constitute a binding offer for sale or guarantee its current availability. Prices are not publicly displayed. Any potential sale, including the price, payment method, collection, shipping, and other conditions, is arranged individually through direct email communication. Submitting an enquiry does not create an obligation to purchase or sell any item.
5. Photographs, Descriptions and Use of Content
Some photographs and original information about the items originate from previous sales listings and documentation retained at the time of purchase, including listings published on eBay. Copyright in photographs and other original materials may belong to their respective creators or other rights holders.
The catalogue content is intended for viewing the collection and communicating about the available items. Access to these materials does not grant visitors permission to reproduce, commercially exploit, or publicly publish them. For questions concerning the origin of specific materials or potential copyright issues, please contact the collection owner using the email address provided below so that the matter can be reviewed and appropriate action taken.
